The Torquato Tasso Cooperative Company operates in the national and international tourist transport for over 40 years. It has experienced the rapid evolution of tourism development linked in particular to the scenic and natural beauty of Southern Italy, continuously growing and expanding its areas of expertise above all in the last decade. The company’s renewal has continued, in order to avoid being unprepared for the new challenges of the road transport sector, so as to be always ready to support the increasingly demanding customers, bound in an essential way to the rapid growth of tourist flows that have the Campania Region is exponentially expanding and in particular the main tourist realities of the Amalfi and Sorrento coasts.

… with this philosophy our group deals with daily projects, challenges and problems related to the world of transport both ordinary and tourism in the national and international, and it is with the same philosophy that over the years we have grown to become a group homogeneous where passion and professionalism drive us to continually seek perfection in what we do, without ever leaving anything to chance, with the strong aim of offering unique, quality products that are technologically advanced in compliance with the ‘environment.
Our past
Torquato Tasso Società Cooperativa was founded in 1970 by the will of some Sorrento taxi drivers, who, using their experience in the field of mobility, decided to join forces to offer a better service in terms of efficiency and effectiveness, compared to those present at the time. In the first years of life, the company offered its customers only taxi and car rental services.
During the ’80s and’ 90s, thanks to the boldness, skill and determination of the deceased creator and coordinator Ronca Mario, better known as Mario l’Amalfitano, the company knows a rapid growth marked by a rigorous specialization becoming undisputed leader in both domestic and international transport sector.
A big family
The company choice is to promote the concept of traveling with quality, with all the values of attention to passengers and the service that have allowed them to grow over the years. Today, the company has become a well-established reality in the Campania region and in particular in the Sorrento Peninsula and the Amalfi Coast, for all those who want to have a modern and quality transport service both in the tourist and local areas. The company has vehicles of different types, from those of individual use, high-end cars and minivans, to collective vehicles from 9 to 50 seats, the latest generation, continuously revised to ensure maximum reliability and efficiency, equipped with high quality standards, with a fleet of about 180 vehicles. It also has special transport vehicles such as rubber trains and uncovered buses for itinerant visits to the centers of greatest tourist attraction, as well as a terminal of over 10,000 square meters for vehicle parking and the exchange between individual and collective mobility.
